Children's Ministry
Westwood Alliance Church Children's Ministry:
Westwood Alliance Church is proud to offer an AWANA
program on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00pm. This
program focuses on Scripture memory and basic
theology.
Fred, our AWANA commander, has been in Childrens Ministry for 10 years
and is involved in Child Evangelism Fellowship(CEF) and is a child advocate
for Richland County. Fred has a great group of fellow workers to help who
have all been through safe place training and screened for your child's safety.

Sunday school:
Westwood Alliance Church is also proud to offer an extensive children's
Sunday school program. Sunday school for children and adults is Sunday
mornings from 9:30 - 10:30am. We are currently developing a curriculum for
our children's Sunday school that will empower us to teach children many
specific things: Bible stories, theology, apologetics, and small amounts of
church history. We have great teachers who have been in the teaching
profession for several decades, and have been teaching children at
Westwood for years. Please make Sunday school a priority for your family!

desire to send their kids to a more comfortable environment to learn about
God and His Word. This ministry is named purposefully! It is church, but for
juniors. There is a Bible lesson for your child, but there is a chance to ask
and answer questions and interact with the teachers. The children are
dismissed just before the sermon at around 11:15pm and are there until the
end of the service.
